Members of the Eden Prairie Figure Skating Club (EPFSC), featuring youth skaters from the Southwest metro area, recently participated in an exhibition at the Eden Prairie Community Center for the 2012 Figure Skating Upper Great Lakes Regional Championships to be held October 14-18 at the Richfield Ice Arena in Minnesota. The U.S. Figure Skating sanctioned event is the qualifying competition for the Twin Cities area featuring over 400 skaters from up to eight states. The top four skaters from Novice through Senior levels qualifying at Uppers will compete in November at Sectionals in Fort Collins, CO. Those skaters who advance will compete at the Championships in San Jose, CA. The top four skaters in each level at the Juvenile and Intermediate levels at Uppers compete at the Junior Championships in East Lansing, MI.
