Private Coaching

Eden Prairie Figure Skating Club private coaching is one-on-one instruction tailored to a skater's specific skill level and goals, providing personalized attention that is not possible in a group class. While group lessons focus on a standardized curriculum, private coaching allows for "fine-tuning" technique, correcting bad habits early, and accelerating a skater's progress.

At EPSFC, skaters who wish to progress past junior club can transition to private coaching.  If you and your skater are ready to take the next steps in their figure skating career check out our Professional Coaches section to learn more about our great team of experienced coaches.

How Private Coaching Works
  • Structure: Lessons typically last 15-60 minutes.  Time is scheduled based on club ice and coach availability.
  • Fees: You generally pay two separate fees:
    1. Coach's Fee: Paid directly to the instructor based on their experience and credentials.
    2. Ice Time/Rink Fee: Paid to the facility through the EPFSC for use of the ice.  The ice/time is shared with other club members and coaches
